I think I've installed all dependencies, including M2Crypto but I'm getting this error message when running send_message.py with a gtalk ID. I haven't tried the other scripts yet. "StartTLS support disabled, but required by peer" I notice that someone else were also having this problem. Installing M2Crypto did not fix it. http://lists.jajcus.net/pipermail/pyxmpp/2007-November/000163.html I tried the code snippet in the reply and got no errors at all. http://lists.jajcus.net/pipermail/pyxmpp/2007-November/000164.html Any help is appreciated. I'm running this on Windows XP. -- Best regards, Jack From jajcus at jajcus.net Sun Jan 18 11:42:46 2009 From: jajcus at jajcus.net (Jacek Konieczny) Date: Sun, 18 Jan 2009 11:42:46 +0100 Subject: [PyXMPP] PyXMPP 1.0.1 released Message-ID: <20090118104246.GC6128@lolek.nigdzie> Hello, After more than three years since the last release I decided to make a new one. I did not plan to make a new release until the 'new' API improvements are finished. But I have been doing nothing to finish that and in the meantime a few small bugfixes and improvements were introduced. So, here it is, PyXMPP 1.0.1: http://pyxmpp.jajcus.net/downloads/pyxmpp-1.0.1.tar.gz It includes some improvements since last release: mostly bugfixes and compatibility improvements with newer Python or libraries (1.0.0 is quite unusable in current systems). Nothing special, just to have a somewhat current and working PyXMPP release. Please note that there are some incompatible API changes, most of them described in the CHANGES file. Thanks a lot Jacek, this makes deploying and administrating PyXMPP a bit easier.
